Where's The Path
This is useful for walk leaders. If you are having trouble finding the route of a path from the map this will help you find it. The screen display shows the Ordnance Survey map on the left and the Google Earth view on the right. Enter a place name in the search box and click. Select the correct place name from the menu. The screen will then show the map and Google Earth view. By then moving the blue cursor along a path/road on the map the cursor on the Google Earth map will duplicate your moves and show the exact route on the ground. Each view has it's own zoom buttons so if you zoom in on say the Ordnance Survey map remember to zoom in to the same level on the Google Earth view.

Find Grid Ref/Postcode/Location
This is useful for walk leaders. Entering one of the 3 options in the appropriate box will then result in the other 2 options being shown. E.g. enter Bridgwater in the "Location" box and then click on "Search". The map then moves to Bridgwater with the pointer positioned at the Bristol Road/Bath Road Junction. This then shows the grid ref for that point as: ST305375 and postcode as: TA6 4BN. To move the pointer around the map left click and hold down and then drag to a new position.
