COURSES
Navigation Courses
are funded by Ramblers to assist current Walk Leaders refresh their navigation skills. In-house courses are occasionally held by one of the Group's members, specifically to instruct new Walk Leaders.
First-Aid training
is funded by Ramblers and members of Sedgemoor Group, who have undertaken a course, receive 3-year accreditation and are trained to administer basic first-aid until professional help arrives.
A first-aid kit is usually carried on walks and it is a mandatory requirement that there is a first-aid kit and trained first-aider when work is undertaken by the Footpath Working Party.
