Food Walks include several breaks with regular stops. There is a short 'coffee' break with a half-hour 'lunch' break, so bring a packed lunch. Snacks are useful to eat at intervals throughout the walk, particularly if the walk is likely to go into the late afternoon.

Drinks should always be carried, particularly in hot weather and on longer and more strenuous walks. Cold water is probably best and Isotonic drinks are useful. It is advisable to bring more than you think you will need.
